Left hand too tight? Recalibrate that left hand! | Learning Cello

Is your left hand too tense while playing?

Here’s a way to recalibrate your senses and find the right amount of weight in your fingers!

When I tried this exercise a number of years ago, I reduced my finger weight by about 60%. As a result, I was able to play faster and suddenly I noticed that my new finger action was translating into a better vibrato as well.

This is an exercise to help yourself work smarter instead of harder.
